Coaches Training Program Links

In order to have a comprehensive and safe hockey program, Marblehead  Youth Hockey, along with their insurance provider, require that the following seven training steps be completed prior to December  1st.  As soon as a coach is appointed to a team, MYHA coach registration, USA Hockey membership, and  The Mass Hockey CORI can be completed. After these tasks are complete, the two on-line training courses can be taken. It is easier to take these classes before the season starts. The last requirement is the USA Hockey classroom training. Register for this class early as spaces fill up quickly. Step 7, the classroom level training, only has to be done if you are coaching a level for which you haven't taken the class previously. For example if you took the  the Mite level course last season and your child is still a Mite then you are good to go. Step 5, the safety training, will be conducted by MYHA and the date will be announced in the Summer.
