(12/31/11) - The Marblehead Mite AAA team captured first place at the annual Miracle on Ice Tournament held December 26th to 31st at the Larsen Rink in Winthrop, MA.  The team went undefeated in round robin action compiling a 3-0 record with victories over Winthrop, Stoneham, and Lynn. In the championship game, Marblehead posted a 6-5 shoot-out victory over a tenacious Melrose team.  The players and coaches would like to thank Winthrop Youth Hockey Association for hosting a great tournament.  ...
